I'd pass on the original PS2 release simply because its frame rate is pretty unstable during colossi battles. Which of those improves your personal game experience more? If you instead have the PS3 remaster, I'd say it's a toss-up and it's just up to what you value, having that "original" experience or having all the new bells and whistles.
